Grounding & Gratitude

Saturday June 13, 2026 @ 11am

Mindfulness, presence, and noticing the small things.

Life can feel busy and overwhelming, and it’s easy for teens to move through the day on autopilot. Grounding & Gratitude offers a chance to slow down and explore simple ways to feel more present, notice what supports them, and find small moments of calm that can make everyday stress feel more manageable.

In this workshop, teens will:

  • Try simple grounding practices they can use in everyday life
  • Learn how mindfulness can support stress, overwhelm, and busy thoughts
  • Explore gratitude in a way that feels honest and realistic
  • Notice small things that bring comfort, calm, or connection
  • Create a personal reflection piece to take home

This workshop is relaxed, creative, and interactive. Teens may participate through writing, drawing, reflection, group discussion, or hands-on activities. They will not be expected to share anything personal unless they choose to. We hope that teens will leave with a few simple practices that feel useful.

Music & Mood

Saturday July 11, 2026 @ 11am

Using music to understand, express, and regulate emotions

Most teens already use music to manage their mood—whether to calm down, feel understood, or shift their energy. Music & Mood explores how music can shape emotions, bring feelings to the surface, and help teens feel more connected to themselves, offering a way to work through emotions even before they have the words.

In this workshop, teens will:

  • Explore how music affects mood, energy, emotion, and identity
  • Learn how music can help us shift, release, or anchor a feeling
  • Reflect on songs that support calm, confidence, comfort, or release
  • Notice when music helps and when it might make a mood feel stuck
  • Create a personal music & mood playlist

This workshop is creative, reflective, and conversation-based. Teens can bring song ideas, share favourites, or keep their choices private. Activities may include music prompts, playlist-building, creative reflection, and discussion about how music can support emotional regulation.

Values & Voice

Saturday August 15, 2026 @ 11am

Exploring what matters to us and how we express ourselves

Teens are constantly sorting through who they are, what matters to them, and what they care about. Values & Voice offers a space to explore these questions in a creative and approachable way, helping teens reflect on what feels important and express their identity through images, words, colours, and symbols.

In this workshop, teens will:

  • Explore personal values and what they want more of in their life
  • Reflect on identity, self-expression, relationships, and goals
  • Consider how values can guide everyday choices
  • Create a values-based vision board
  • Leave with a visual representation of what matters to them

This workshop is hands-on, creative, and reflective. Teens will use collage materials, images, words, and art supplies to create a visual reflection of their values. Their piece can be bold, meaningful, messy, aesthetic, or all of the above. All materials will be provided.
