Back To School...Now What?

1 hour in person interactive workshop to help kids, teens, and parents navigate the transition back to school with confidence and ease.

Back to School Mental Health

Two Workshops, plus a bonus parent support session!

Kids groups will focus on mindfulness, mindset, and regulation strategies in return to school

At the same time, parents are invited to a parenting workshop focused on supporting children with anxiety, with practical tools they can use during the transition to school and beyond!

Both Child and Teen Groups will focus on these shared outcomes, through age appropriate tools

  • Enhanced Focus and Attention: learn mindfulness techniques to improve concentration and stay present during school activities.

  • Improved Emotional Regulation: develop strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and other emotions, leading to better self-control and calmness in challenging situations.

  • Growth Mindset Development: practice a growth mindset, empowering youth to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and persist in the face of difficulties.

  • Increased Self-Awareness: gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts and feelings, helping them to recognize and address any negative patterns.

  • Better Peer Relationships: Through group activities and discussions, children and teens will build empathy and communication skills, fostering stronger connections with classmates.

Participants will be engaging in creating their own coping toolkits, including a physical item to bring home for support during the school year!
